Caritas ReUse Shops in Vienna
The carla Secondhand shops of Caritas have been reuse hubs for decades, providing social as well as ecological benefits: We help disadvantaged people to get (back) into the labour market, allow for CO2 savings by prolonging a products´ lifespan and create climate-friendly and affordable consumption options.
Approximately 1 million items get donated, sorted, assessed and set up for reuse within the carlas in Vienna every year: Whether it is a pair of jeans, a watch, a book, speakers, chairs for your dining table a piano or a car and everything in between, you can donate it to or purchase it at one of our stores. Turning objects that are no longer used by their owners into valuable contributions to the local labor market, the budget of people with lower incomes, the environment and happy new owners.

Close to the city center and easily accessible in the 5th district within a former factory building, you can browse through everything your Secondhand-heart desires: from simple cupboards to designer sofas, from hooded sweaters to ball gowns, and from coffee cups to Murano glass vases and from comic books to rare vinyl records, we got you covered.

At carla, your good but no longer needed items receive a new life and help your fellow humans and the environment. We gladly accept practically all well-preserved items that are suitable for reuse at our shops. We also pick up furniture and large donations from your home or company for a small contribution fee.
